Nice to meet you,
I'm Courtney!

Every stage of a relationship comes with its own set of challenges

Whether you’ve just moved in together and can’t seem to talk about the dishes without ruining your Sunday night, or you’ve been married for years and are coping with parenting concerns, intimacy problems, or affair recovery – couples therapy can be a game-changer for your relationship.

As an attachment-based, relational therapist, I believe that healthy, supportive relationships are the key to a fulfilling life. I am an ICEEFT-certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist. EFT has decades of research proving its effectiveness in helping couples achieve long-term success in repairing and deepening their relationships. Having discovered EFT as a client myself (!), some of my peak career (and life) experiences have been witnessing the power of this model to transform relationships and break generational cycles, both in my work with couples and with individuals.

I identify as straight, white, and cis-female. I consider myself an LGBTQIA+ ally, and I warmly welcome clients of all cultural backgrounds and identities. Previously, I worked as a school counselor, a career I chose based on my commitment to increase equity and dismantle systems of oppression.

The quality of our relationships has the biggest impact on our overall happiness and well-being.

I’m a licensed therapist in Maryland, and I specialize in helping couples and adult individuals get more out of their relationships. I’m here to help people improve communication, manage conflict, and gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their partners.

Originally from New Jersey, I lived in Boston, Pittsburgh and Germany before moving to Baltimore in 2014. I live with my partner of 14+ years, our kiddo, and our dog.
